1. Knowledge of the cotton, Synthetic, Blends spinning process, from blow room to winding.
2. Understanding of carding, drawing, simplex/roving, ring frame, and winding operations.
3. Knowledge of yarn quality parameters, including count, strength, evenness, imperfections, and hairiness.
4. Ability to identify production problems and support corrective actions.
5. Knowledge of production planning, waste control, and machine efficiency.
6. Good control over labour management.
Responsibilities & Context
1. Monitor daily spinning production activities to achieve production targets.
2. Ensure production quality according to approved yarn specifications.
3. Monitor machine performance, production efficiency, and downtime.
4. Identify and report production problems, yarn quality defects, and machine-related issues.
5. Coordinate with Quality Control, Maintenance, Planning, and other relevant departments.
6. Monitor raw material consumption, waste generation, and production losses.
7. Maintain daily production reports, machine records, and shift handover reports.
8. Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace safety standards, and housekeeping requirements.
9. Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste.
10. Supervise and coordinate with operators and workers as assigned.
