Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline in Supply Chain Management
∎ A Bachelor degree in Logistics Management/ Supply Chain Management/ Civil Engineering or any equivalent degree from a reputed University;
∎ Master's degree in Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage;

Job Context:
∎ Project: Water Treatment Plant
∎ Location: Mirsarai, Chattogram

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analyzing technical specification and employer's requirements to determine the materials' requirement after getting purchase requisition;
∎ Making purchase planning with concern department (QS, Procurement, Civil, Store and Site);
∎ Preparing related documents to open local LC as well as International LC/LCA.
∎ Maintaining, updating and managing all the supplier and subcontractor profiles on the CCCC Supply Chain management server;
∎ Providing assistance to the Procurement Manager regarding the CCCC Supply Chain Management Portal's Bidding Process for Suppliers and Subcontractors;
∎ Collecting quotation from different vendors and creating comparative statement (CS);
∎ Sourcing potential vendors as per the requirement;
∎ Negotiating the best possible deal for pricing, quality and other terms and conditios;
∎ Preparing RFQ (Request for Quotation), PR (Purchase Requisition), PO (Purchase Order) & Issuing Work Orders against Requisition;
∎ Preparing Procurement Agreement as per requirement;
∎ Receiving materials, delivery challans, tracking expenses and managing vendor payment/transactions;
∎ Ensuring that all the requisite and approved commodities are available and all procured commodities meet the required quality standards and specifications;
∎ Visiting and traveling for developing source, improving coordination among suppliers and maintaining long-lasting relationships with them as well as existing suppliers;
∎ Maintaining and updating the list of suppliers and their qualification, delivery time and potential future developments;
∎ Monitoring and cross-checking of materials' rate from real market source and other companies;
∎ Evaluating vendor performance based on cost, quality, and delivery and developing plans to improve supplier performance;
∎ Any other job as and when assigned by the management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The ideal candidate would have minimum 5-6 years of experience of supply chain management for materials, suppliers, equipment and subcontractors for at least 3 large-scale infrastructure projects; such as, road and bridge, water treatment plant, airport, terminal/port projects;
∎ Must have professional contacts with a large pool of suppliers and sub- contractors in the construction industry. Candidates are requested to show documents outlining contacts during the interview;
∎ Must have knowledge of opening local LC as well as International LC/LCA;
∎ Proficiency in M/S Excel;
∎ Excellent communication skills;
∎ Strong price negotiation skills

Salary: Tk. 40000 - 50000 (Monthly)
