Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting, Master of Business Administration (MBA)
∎ Any other Professional Qualification will be given preference
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Able to prepare Shipment Status, Bank Document Status, Payment Documents etc.
∎ Responsible to Check Terms & Conditions of Export L/C's of Buyer.
∎ Collect documents, prepare L/C accordingly and attain bank formalities on time for delivering on time.
∎ A thorough knowledge of total procedure from L/C opening to goods received.
∎ Communicate with the bank to ensure confirmation of Export L/C at a competitive price and timely collection of Proceeds Realization Certificate (PRC).
∎ Follow up with banks for each and every transaction of the company and ask for vouchers from banks for that transaction.
∎ Should have good knowledge and high practical experience regarding Export, Import, EP, CO, GSP, B/L and related documentation and commercial responsibilities.
∎ Maintain Communication with the C&F office to complete the export process and collect necessary documents after custom pass.
∎ Submit export documents to the buyer or their agent and Bank documents for negotiation/ payment.
∎ Collect dummy B/L, AWAB from shipping line/ air forwarded for GSP and CO.
∎ Release original B/L, AWAB from shipping line/ air forwarder after vessel sailing.
∎ Communicate and follow up with the bank to accomplish the realization process
∎ Should have good knowledge regarding custom law and regulations related to export & import and should be capable to negotiate /liaise with customs and bond departments.
∎ Should have excellent knowledge on Customs, Vat, Bonded Warehouse facilities etc.
∎ Liaise with C&F agent and handover shipping documents and related documents and monitor the status of customs assessments, port and agent charges in relation to clearing merchandise.
∎ Ensure all the custom and bond-related works proficiently & independently and report management in timely manner.
∎ Through knowledge of applicable duties, taxes and other legal payments related to commercial activities.
∎ Liaison, coordinate and communicate with Bank's for collection of transactions, circulars and policies which are required to comply newly imposed rules and Law
∎ Communicate and liaise with EPB, Bangladesh Bank, Board of Investment etc.
∎ Maintain CUSTOM BOND REGISTER to follow up
∎ Responsible for all Customs clearance of imported materials including arrangement of UD & UP (typing and processing),
∎ Be prepared for yearly audit, H. S. Code formalities, General Bond, NOC to release indemnity bond etc.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):Commercial/ Supply Chain * The applicants should have experience in the bonded factory & export oriented factory
∎ This position demands high level of export Import market knowledge
∎ Minimum 05 years' experience in any 100% export-oriented Garment Industry.
∎ Must be updated on the latest Customs and International Trade Laws is essential to be proficient in this position.
∎ Must have good analytical report writing skills and good computer literacy
∎ Understand complexity of supply chain activities
∎ Excellent communication skills to interact successfully within the network
∎ Entrepreneurial, self -motivated with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
∎ Knowledge about handle of Port and Customs Operation effectively.
∎ Strong organizational skills.
