Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure strategic plan for crew recruitment, selection and onboarding of certified, qualified and competent crew at the right time at the right position in a cost-effective manner.
∎ Ensure workforce planning with buffer manpower setup by maintaining and improve a database of potential candidates and on leave employees in regard to on-time recruitment and onboarding.
∎ Ensure the pre employment background and health check-up as per international practices (employee due diligence), certificate validation and proper induction training before deployment to the vessel.
∎ Take initiative for good work environment through engagement programs, disbursement of payments and other benefits for employer branding.
∎ Ensure periodic performance measurement and management and take initiative for improvement for overall performance of employee.
∎ Circulate a yearly training calendar or periodic training program, various safety certification short courses for achieving performance excellence.
∎ Collaborate with various training and SME professionals to plan, prepare and execute the training materials and modules to build in house training program (if any).
∎ Motivate and counsel the crews and increase retention by providing career path.
∎ Ensure in house build-in shipping software for leveraging technology to maximize business.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 40 years
∎ The candidate should have at least 5 years shipping crew recruitment experience in any reputed shipping company for Marine background.
∎ MS Office, ERP, Shipping business knowledge, maritime knowledge, maritime law. Bangladesh labor law, etc.
Salary: Negotiable
