Commissioning, Operation and Maintenance
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for designing, developing, installing, managing and maintaining equipment which is used to monitor and control engineering systems, machinery and processes.
∎ Provides technical knowledge of engineering principles and their application to developing cost-effective, reliable and high-quality instrumentation that satisfy customer needs and business requirements. Reviews and analyzes customer and business requirements, and articulates and documents system requirements and functions.
∎ Successful erection & commissioning of FPS, FOHS & DM Plant instrumentation.
∎ Erection & Commissioning of DCS panels with control room readiness for unit operation.
∎ Erection & Commissioning of C&I of Power cycle, Steam cycle systems etc.
∎ Erection & Commissioning of C&I of DMCW, Vacuum pumps, Turbine Lube Oil system.
∎ Erection & Commissioning of C&I of ACW, CW & FOPH, CPU systems.
∎ Working collaboratively with design engineers, operation engineers, purchasers and other internal staff.
∎ Investigate and recommend solutions to field operating problems.
∎ Procurement of material, technical scrutiny, communicate with Equipment vendors and meet company Technical consultants, concerning new technology, Equipment up-gradation, revision of standards, purchase specifications, and test procedures.
∎ Study of D.B.R. for Instrumentation systems at site, P&I D of BTG / BOP packages, C&I drawings of various systems. Documenting all data for the BTG / BOP packages.
∎ Successful erection of DCS panels and commissioning thereof.
∎ Performs other duties and tasks as defined by Platform Systems Engineering.
