Educational Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Collaborate with pharmacy management to forecast supply needs and demands based on patient volumes and historical data.
∎ Coordinate with pharmaceutical suppliers and manufacturers to ensure a steady and reliable supply of medications.
∎ Oversee the receipt, inspection, and storage of pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with storage guidelines and safety standards.
∎ Manage the distribution of medications to various hospital units while maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
∎ Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers without compromising product quality.
∎ Implement best practices in supply chain management to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
∎ Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and new pharmaceutical products to make informed procurement decisions.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Proven experience in supply chain management within the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry.
∎ Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, their characteristics, and storage requirements.
∎ Familiarity with inventory management software and other relevant supply chain tools.
∎ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to forecast demands accurately and address supply chain challenges.
∎ Effective communication and negotiation skills to interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
∎ Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
∎ Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
