Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's / Master's in any discipline from any UGC approved top ranked public/private university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Managing rental, transportation & logistics service purchase activities.
∎ Developing relationships with vehicle rental, nationwide transporters and logistic service providers.
∎ Monitoring transport costs.
∎ Negotiating and bargaining transportation prices, long-term, short-term, monthly, daily etc.
∎ Planning routes and load scheduling for multi-drop deliveries as per requisition and project demand.
∎ Booking in deliveries and liaising with customers.
∎ Allocating and recording resources and movements.
∎ Ensuring all partners in the supply chain are working effectively and efficiently to ensure smooth operations.
∎ Communicating effectively with clients and responding to their requirements.
∎ Booking sub-contractors and ensuring they deliver within agreed terms.
∎ Onboard and develop value added suppliers and nurture partnerships
∎ Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve work efficiency and effectiveness
∎ Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of requirement specifications and expectations of the company
∎ Execute contract and risk management for agreements
∎ Generate and provide accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations etc.
∎ Ensure compliance in all procure-to-pay process & procurement rights
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Work Experience: 3-5 years' experience in similar fields will be preferred.
∎ Willing to work independently and with cross-functional teams
∎ Good command over written and verbal communication
∎ Proactive, innovative and problem solver attitude
∎ Willingness to travel across country
