Job Responsibilities:
∎ Establish a temporary logistics base near the area of offshore operations and check shipping documents.
∎ Liaise with Onshore and Offshore teams for acknowledgment with project people and C & F.
∎ Liaise with shipping agents, port authorities, and project and site personnel to ensure that crew/supply boat turnaround was achieved in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner
∎ Follow up unloading operation and cargo received With Maintain SOP.
∎ Identify shipping and logistic support agent and engage same as necessary for personnel clearance, materials import-export, Barges and Vessels import-export, application and compliance of local laws and government permits
∎ Monitor Mother vessels discharging operation at Chattogram O/A & Mongla anchorage & ensure quick out turn of the vessel.
∎ Plan & implement lighter vessel accurate employment against mother vessel and thus confirm smooth discharging operation of the mother vessel.
∎ Track and monitor all Lighter vessels movement, countdown of every trip while staying at the jetty or any destination.
∎ Check average load draft, and amount of transported cargoes and prepare daily/monthly reports.
∎ Monitor Lighter vessel loading operations at Chattogram O/A & Mongla anchorage.
∎ Communication with the shipping agent, Stevedores, C&F agent, Carrying Agents, Surveyors, Lighter Vessel Owners and all respective related concern.
∎ Preparation of SOF for Lighter Vessel, making lay time statement Calculation of Dispatch/demurrages for both Mother and lighter Vessel.
∎ Examination of lighter's documentation and condition before loading.
∎ Taking permission from port Authority for lighter loading.
∎ Sound knowledge EGM,IGM, Export Document, Import Document, ODC Cargo, SODC Cargo, & EPC Cargo.
