Position Summary

The Senior Executive – Finance will be responsible for managing daily financial operations, maintaining accurate accounting records, monitoring receivables and payables, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting and financial records accurately.

• Prepare vouchers, invoices, payment requests, and journal entries.

• Handle accounts payable and receivable activities.

• Monitor cash flow, bank transactions, and reconciliations.

• Prepare monthly financial reports and management summaries.

• Coordinate with logistics, and operations teams regarding billing and financial documentation.

• Support VAT, Tax, and audit-related activities.

• Maintain proper documentation for LC, shipping, customs clearance, and operational expenses.

• Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting.

• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate with banks, vendors, and clients regarding financial matters.

• Support management with financial analysis and reporting as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

• Professional certifications (partly qualified CA/ACCA/CMA) will be considered an advantage.

• 4-5 years of relevant experience in finance/accounts.

• Prior experience in logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, or related industries preferred.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, Tax, and banking procedures.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems TALLY.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
