Responsibilities & Context:
Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of Wartsila 20V34SG gas engines, 33/11 kV substations, transformers, VCB, ACB, VFD, DG, UPS, and DC systems.
Ensure high equipment availability, reliability, and safe operation through effective maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and timely corrective actions.
Lead electrical maintenance activities and troubleshoot electrical faults, protection systems, and equipment-related issues.
Monitor and maintain electrical protection systems, including relay coordination, trip circuits, and associated control systems.
Manage critical electrical spare parts and ensure adequate stock levels to support uninterrupted plant operations.
Ensure strict compliance with LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), electrical isolation, work permit, and other electrical safety procedures.
Maintain accurate records of preventive/corrective maintenance, feeder trips, energy meter readings, breakdowns, and spare parts consumption/inventory.
