∎ Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Visual Studio SQL Server and MySQL clustering, replication, backup, and recovery processes.
∎ Proficiency in SQL and T-SQL Development: Writing, understanding and modifying the existing SQL queries(CRUD, Joins, Sub queries etc.), stored procedures, functions and trigger
∎ Experience in database maintenance, like fragmentation checks including daily backups and recovery, Off site backups. re-index operations, update statistics, and other system commands.
∎ Perform database upgrades, patches, and migrations.
∎ Automated Monitoring/Alerting
∎ Performance Tuning/Collection/Analysis (MS PerfMon) and optimize queries to improve overall system performance.
∎ Solid experience in High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies for SQL Server i.e. Clustering, Mirroring, Log shipping, Replication, etc.
∎ Experience performing database migrations and implement database security controls, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and access management.
∎ Expertise in SQL Server tools (Profiler, DTA, SSMS, PerfMon, DMVs).

∎ The ideal candidate is proficient in Microsoft SQL Server (Mandatory) and MySQL DBA, has a strong understanding of database management systems, possesses excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
∎ Additionally, some Windows Administration skill will be desirable but not mandatory.
∎ This is a “hands-on” position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
