Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch)
∎ Skills Required: Adobe software, AutoCAD Architecture, autodesk revit, Google sketchup
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 15 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Able to deliver top-notch construction drawings, conceptual design work and presentations;
∎ Should have independent ability to run multiple projects and have prior experience of having worked on leading projects towards total delivery from concept to completion;
∎ Must have the ability to deliver drawings and graphic rendered outputs for 2D and 3D, able to do 3D modeling in a range of software;
∎ Ability to develop concepts and ability to present the same to Clients, Contractors and at public forums;
∎ Should be able to train and mentor staff and ensure that they are trained and develop expertise in domain specific areas as well as in skills required for delivery of the project; manage a team of interns and architects to deliver work;
∎ Manage site level coordination and responses to RFIs and RFAs and resolve site related execution issues;
∎ Knowledge of & ability to interpreting Building Codes and be in a position to make decisions & drive the design process;
∎ Able to lead design and project delivery on projects at multiple scales;
∎ Engage in fast drafting, 3D modeling and rendering skills with ability to deliver at a professional level.
∎ Should be able to work with a multi-disciplinary team and coordinate services and structural drawings and integration of the whole project;
∎ Should oversee and manage compliance with BIM standards and TQM requirements;
∎ Should have domain specific experience to lead teams in focused studio environment;
∎ Should be able to understand, explain and make decisions for and with the aid of
∎ MEP and Structural Systems designers with regard to the project;
∎ Understanding and knowledge of services and structural systems that are required for the domain specific delivery of projects
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Must be a RAJUK enlisted Architect;
∎ Member/ Fellow - Institute of Architecture;
∎ Good communication skills with capability to liaise with consultant, contractors and work with a multi-disciplinary team;
∎ Ability to develop and maintain good working relationship within the team;
∎ Ability to interact with Clients and make presentations as required;
∎ Ability to lead a team and manage interpersonal issues and ensure good project delivery;
∎ Software Proficiency: Autodesk REVIT, AutoCAD Architecture, Google Sketchup, Rhinoceros, Adobe Software etc
