∎ Master of Science (MSc) in Medical Biochemistry, Master of Science (MSc) in Immunology
∎ Skills Required: Biomedical, Biotechnology, Compliance, Molecular Virology
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 7 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Biomedical, Molecular Virology
Job Context:
∎ 5 yrs to 7 yrs of experience in Pathology lab in molecular diagnostic department.
∎ Preferable experience working with the Qiagen platform.
∎ Should have experience of handling his/her department independently with all compliances.
∎ A suitable candidate must be presentable with decent communication skills
∎ Computer and systems proficiency, specifically with MS Office systems, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as laboratory management systems
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Performing & Preparing specimen for molecular testing as per defined Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
∎ Competent in performing molecular techniques- nucleic acid extraction (both manual and automated), various PCR techniques including RT-PCR set-up, standardization, and validation procedures.
∎ Experience in qualitative assays and quantitative viral load assays.
∎ Perform data analysis, interpret test results, and generate case reports for final review
∎ Standardization of assays, documentation, and troubleshooting.
∎ Preferable experience in molecular TB diagnostic methods
∎ Perform maintenance of the laboratory equipment as per protocols
∎ Validate the results and release for Pathologist’s approval on completion of the analysis
∎ Maintain the documentation as defined in the standard operating procedures
∎ Maintain adequate day to day inventory levels
∎ Post Approval from lab head makes decisions in assessing calibration, control, and acceptability of analytical runs for all laboratory data produced by themselves or other unlicensed personnel.
∎ Observe all laboratory safety precautions in the handling of clinical specimens and running of tests.
∎ Notify the supervisor of any abnormal findings/test conditions required for specific attention of the supervisor.
∎ Responsible to maintain Quality Management System & maintain the technical record
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Degree from any government institute or renowned private institute.
Salary: Tk. 25000 - 35000 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Medical allowance, Over time allowance
