Requirements:

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Demand planning & execution for overall domestic & export truck requirements.
∎ Responsible for improving check-in-check-out and weight-in-weight-out at the plant.
∎ Developing a new channel to bring the product to the nearest picking point or POD within the shortest possible time.
∎ Cost-benefit analysis to select the cost-effective route to send cement to the customers
∎ Support PICK customers by arranging trucks and enhancing the facility further.
∎ Updating market intelligence data for truck, freight, and other capabilities and opportunities.Follow-up initiative to maintain tolerance through scale.
∎ Actively work in Route-To-Market to improve existing channels.
∎ Month-closing reporting, including generating various reports from time to time.
∎ Support for smooth month closing activities during month end.
∎ Periodic site visits, meeting with customers, and assessing demand to adjust distribution channels.
∎ Preparing a yearly budget for dispatch through the truck, cost analysis between actual vs budget vs latest estimate.
∎ Benchmarking of logistics activities across the local practice & around the other operational business units.
∎ Build long-term relationships with vendors to receive uninterrupted service.
∎ Physical verification of finished goods at the plant as well as outside distribution points.
∎ Engaging in various cost-saving initiatives from local and Group.
∎ Support shifts during peak times and other critical times to curve costs as well as improve operational efficiency.
∎ Cross-functional collaboration to exchange information to bring out the best from limited resources.
