∎ UChicago Research Bangladesh (URB) is an international non-profit research organization affiliated with The University of Chicago, USA. URB also registered with NGO Affairs Bureau Bangladesh as an International NGO. URB conducts research, training and community service activities for the improvement of human health in Bangladesh and beyond. URB works closely with the scientists, health professionals and policy makers in Bangladesh, USA and other countries.
∎ The mission of URB is to identify the major determinants for common diseases and health outcomes among Bangladeshi populations. Specifically research is primarily focused on reducing environmental risk factors causing significant public health problems that the people of Bangladesh faces and translate knowledge into policy and practice.
∎ URB invites application from the suitable candidates for the position of Research Medical Officer for its Dhaka Office and field office located at Araihazar Upazila, Narayangonj. Position particulars are as follows:
∎ Position Type : Contractual (11 months) Extendable
∎ Work Station :Country Office Dhaka and Field Office Araihazar Upazila, Narayangonj
