Educational Requirements:
∎ MBBS from any Medical College;
∎ Degree in radiology
∎ BMDC Restoration Certificate
∎ Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in Pathology, Master of Science (MSc) in Laboratory medicine
∎ 2-year general training foundation course.
∎ 1 or 2 years specialist training programme in pathology.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ It is an emergency recruitment interested candidates are requested to apply earlier as possible.
∎ We are looking for Pathologists who are specialist physicians that undertake research and testing of medical specimens for the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Report X-ray film
∎ When provided blood, urine, or other body fluids, a clinical pathologist will usually proceed from a visual to a microscopic to a lab analyses. Unlike anatomical pathologists, clinical pathologists will run tests based on a physician's suspicion and return results that either support or exclude that suspicion. The procedures can be broadly described as:
∎ Macroscopic examinations, a visual evaluation of a sample to check for abnormalities, such as color, density, coagulation, and sedimentation
∎ Microscopic evaluations, using various techniques and stains to examine a specimen microscopically.
∎ Lab cultures, in which a specimen is applied to a culture medium with the aim of growing and positively identifying bacterial, fungal, and even viral pathogens (disease-causing agents)
Additional Requirements:
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):Clinical Pathologist, pathological lab
∎ Valid and active medical license in the state you wish to practice.
∎ Experience using lab testing equipment, such as microscopes and flow cytometers.
∎ Exceptional analytical and research skills.
∎ Strong oral and written communication skills.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the related field
∎ Good communication (written/verbal) & presentation skills.
∎ Strong analytical & leadership ability and work as a strategic thinker.
∎ Positive work ethics and result oriented for assigned responsibilities.
∎ Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and good team work.
∎ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
