Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from reputed university;
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Able to work in a variety of construction environments including commercial, educational, industrial, health care, steel structure, road, and infrastructure related projects;
∎ Consult with the clients about the cost of projects;
∎ Review architects' and engineers' drawings; identify the costs involved and set an overall estimated budget for the project;
∎ Measure and estimate material costs for projects;
∎ Prepare BOQ for the projects;
∎ Prepare reports about projected costs for clients;
∎ Visit sites to monitor the progress and to check that the work is within the projected budget;
∎ Recalculate costs if the design or material changes;
∎ Certify progress claims from contractors;
∎ Certify the payment certificate for the contractors and suppliers;
∎ Prepare/ Certify a statement of final account recording the actual costs of the project;
∎ Prepare project feasibility studies;
∎ Assist senior QS in preparing tender documents, preparation of Minutes of Meetings;
∎ Strive to build strong network connections with project team members'
∎ Undertake any other task as instructed by supervisor;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ 3-5 years of experience in the relevant field;
∎ Good knowledge on AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office etc.
