Educational Requirements:
∎ M. Sc./ B. Sc. in Microbiology/ Genetic Engineering/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology from any reputed university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 4 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ SDS-PAGE, IEF, Western blotting, UPLC, Capillary Electrophoresis, FACS, RT-PCR and small animal handling as well as culturing of both bacterial and viral isolates or cell/tissue culture.
∎ Perform the above-mentioned assays in the QC laboratory as per the SOPs, and adhering to cGMP, and cGLP regulations.
∎ Contribute to the development of in vitro testing methods to support the QC assay.
∎ Conducts drug characterization, molecular assays, ELISA, PCR, drug potency (in vitro or in vivo), and drug stability testing on the bulk, and final vial samples as required.
∎ Perform media preparation, and cell culture to maintain various cell lines.
∎ Prepare test reagents, and buffers used in various assays as needed.
∎ Maintains log books related to inventory and equipment.
∎ Ensures equipments and labs are clean and safe (in compliance with cGMP), and properly maintained.
∎ Performs other additional job-related duties as required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Strong writing skills.
∎ An understanding of routine QC operations, including testing and strong documentation practices.
∎ Excellent communication skills.
∎ Demonstrated ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlines.
∎ Experience with laboratory electronic systems.
∎ Possesses well developed attention to detail, ability to maintain accurate records, and excellent proofreading skills.
∎ Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Prism Graphpad software.
∎ Ability to work effectively both independently, and as a member of a team.
