Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate day-to-day operations of Purchasing Services.
∎ To develop and implement quality assurance to ensure an efficient and effective service is being provided to the hospital.
∎ To ensure that Purchasing Services running costs are kept under control and all staff are aware of costs involved.
∎ To be responsible for all the purchase and ensure that stocks are maintained at an appropriate level.
∎ Ensure compliance to the termed Vision and Mission statements, goals, objectives and values of the Company. The Purchasing Executive directs and assumes the general responsibility for purchasing supplies, equipment and service at most favorable price consistent with quality and efficiency.
