Job Responsibilities:
∎ This position is assigned to the GSO Procurement Section and works under the supervision of the Procurement Supervisor.
∎ The incumbent is responsible for preparing purchase orders/delivery orders/credit card orders. The incumbent requests quotes from authorized suppliers by way of email, internet, and telephone calls and determines the best vendor that offers the service or supply that is best suited for the requiring office.
∎ The incumbent is responsible for preparation, processing, and follow up of all subscriptions/books, motor vehicle spare parts and other supplies request from the Public Affairs Section, Motor Pool and Expendable Supply Store.
∎ The incumbent maintains all procurement files of incoming and outgoing correspondence and copies of all outgoing correspondence in the subject files as well as in master files.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum two years' experience in procurement or in administrative field required.
∎ Level III (good working knowledge) in English, both written and spoken, Level IV (fluent) in Bangla. This may be tested.
∎ Must have Level II typing skills (minimum 40 words per minute). Must be familiar with filing system. Computer knowledge on Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet is essential.
