Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in Business Management/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from any Govt. Polytechnic Institute will be Preferable.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Have to purchase Any Kind of raw materials regarding Furniture Manufacturing / Interior related items includingdifferent Types of Wood.
∎ Have to understand wood Quality and Measurement of Log with Wastage calculation.
∎ Verification of price of required goods as per requisition by visiting market & prepare competitive statement.
∎ Procurement of different items upon receiving of requisition from Factory & Concerned Departments of Head Office by ensuring of Quality of all items.
∎ Update vendor database on regular basis.
∎ Have to find out sources of Raw Material for Factory &Site locally from different market / suppliers / factories.
∎ Select potential vendors after verifying vendor selecting procedure.
∎ Collaborate with other Departments to Forecast Procurement needs and ensure that Materials, Supplies and Equipment are ordered in a timely manner.
∎ Generate and update order status tracking sheet, reconciliation and timely reporting.
∎ To coordinate withDelivery Section to ensure timely delivery of Finished Products.
∎ Have to go at Savar Seasoning Plant and Factory-Kanchpur regularly in every week.
∎ Have to Go outside of Dhaka to purchase Wood when needed.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Must have at least 8-10 years practical experience in Furniture /Wood Related Company
∎ Computer Skill in Excel, MSword, Mail etc.
Salary: Negotiable
