Educational Requirements:
∎ Master’s/Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Purchasing items such as office supplies, equipment, machinery, computer and it’s accessories, food, or other supplies needed by the University.
∎ Working with internal stakeholders (teachers or operations staff) to determine procurement needs, quality and delivery requirements.
∎ Negotiating and completes contracts with vendors for optimal cost and on time delivery.
∎ Reviewing purchase orders and contracts for compliance with university and departmental policies.
∎ Establishing delivery schedules, monitor progress and contact suppliers to resolve problems
∎ Liaising with suppliers on damaged and return goods
∎ Maintaining accurate records of purchases and pricing. Do regular daily, weekly, and monthly procurement reports.
∎ Estimating and establishing cost parameters and budgets for purchases
∎ Invite, assess, and recommending supplier tenders, bids, quotations, and proposals.
∎ Purchasing large and complex items.
∎ Developing and implementing policies and procedures related to purchasing and inventory control with a goal to maximize efficiency and optimize workflow.
∎ Helping coordinate bids for large projects such as machinery or building construction.
∎ Reviewing, comparing and analyzing data to determine which vendors offer the best value for products and services
∎ Maintaining and updating a list of vendors/suppliers
∎ Performing other duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ 3-5 years’ experience in the relevant field.
∎ Good analytical ability, time management & record management skill.
∎ Strong communication and negotiation skills.
∎ Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time efficiently
∎ Understanding of the market trends and supplier network

Salary: Negotiable
