Master's degree in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology or an equivalent discipline from a reputed university, with an excellent academic record.

• Minimum five (05) years of relevant professional experience in a similar field.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, with proficiency in written and spoken Bangla and English.

• Demonstrated expertise in handling emergency cases and resolving problems using initiative and creativity.

• Proficiency in MS Office, internet usage, organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, maintain strict confidentiality and adapt to changing requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

• Provide individual, group, couple, parent and family counseling services to BRAC University students, staff and faculty members.

• Plan and conduct workshops, seminars, and innovative programs on psychosocial and mental health issues. Undertake relevant research beneficial to the University.

• Maintain accurate and confidential counseling records, obtain informed consent before recording information. Submit weekly and semester-wise reports to the appropriate authorities.

• Adhere to professional ethics, the American Counseling Association (ACA) Code of Ethics, applicable laws and regulations, including appropriate professional boundaries to ensure client welfare.

• Engage in continuous professional development to strengthen professional competency. Remain updated on counseling practices and mental health services.

• Provide counseling services at the Savar Residential Campus when required and undertake other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
