Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. in Civil Engineering
∎ Project Management Professional (PMP) Preferred
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 12 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare effective planning to develop construction department and submit to the higher management.
∎ Coordinate with employer and consultants' engineers for getting and complete the project successfully
∎ Prepare construction methodology for different type of construction project such as: Building, Road, Bridge, Railway, Land Development etc.
∎ Prepare projects planning and scheduling by using MS-Project software to complete the project successfully within the time.
∎ Prepare projects quality and cost control planning to make sure the best quality within the project budget
∎ Prepare project planning for construction budget, resource utilization and materials allocation for construction project
∎ Monitor construction works to assure that plans, specifications, codes and regulations are being observed and followed
∎ Compare the actual work done time to time against planned and take necessary action to maintain the work schedule of project(s)
∎ Supervision construction projects on regular basis and Identify problem area and provide appropriate solution to engineer and subcontractor
∎ Collect necessary information from project and prepare the required weekly and monthly progress reports
∎ Prepare Interim payment application (IPA), interim payment certificate (IPC), request for inspection (RFI), Construction shop drawing, bar bending schedule (BBS), As built drawing etc.
∎ Prepare compression statement for all submitted quotation by sub-contractor and preparation Engineer's Assessment (EA)
∎ Prepare contract agreement between company and employer/sub-contractor including all necessary annexure
∎ Reviews and checking interim payment certificate (IPC) submitted by sub-contractor of construction project
∎ Study all types of design, drawing, specification and methodology of construction project successfully
∎ Prepare standard format for Quantity Takeoff, Cost analysis and BOQ Preparation by following all schedule of rate (PWD, RHD, LGED, BWDB, MES etc.) to complete the construction project smoothly and successfully
∎ Understand the tender procedure of ICT/NCT/LTM/OTM/EOI/RFP for both manual and tender's (e-GP) System.
∎ Prepare technical documentation for pre-qualification, tender & enlistment for any kind of construction project.
∎ Participating in pre-bid discussions, post bid and technical and financial bid openings.
∎ Prepare design and drawing for different type of component of the project such as: Building, Road, Drainage, Ditch, Trench etc.
∎ Prepare relevant reports for construction Project
∎ Other Tasks assigned by the authority
Additional Requirements:
∎ 12 years' professional experience of in the construction field
∎ 6 years' experience of construction project management
∎ The candidate should be proficient in MS-Office, MS-Project, Auto CAD and other design and project management related software
∎ Proficiency in spoken and written English
∎ Age limit- below 40 years
∎ Both males and females are encouraged to apply
∎ Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills (Bangla and English)
∎ Strong leadership skill
∎ Adaptable and able to work under pressure
∎ Quantitative analytical ability
∎ Hands on experience in mega construction project is expected
∎ All requirements to be carried out independently.
