Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan for establishing an e-waste recycling facility, ensuring alignment with international safety guidelines, regulatory requirements, and environmental standards.
∎ Lead cross-functional teams and external partners to manage the entire project lifecycle, from feasibility assessment to plant commissioning.
∎ Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure the timely acquisition and installation of specialized machinery and equipment required for e-waste processing.
∎ Provide expertise in e-waste operations management, including process optimization, material handling, sorting, recycling, and disposal of hazardous components.
∎ Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure safe and compliant operations within the e-waste recycling facility.
∎ Oversee the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various processes within the facility, emphasizing safety, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.
∎ Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project completion within established targets.
∎ Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, regulatory authorities, suppliers, and contractors to support project success.
∎ Monitor and evaluate project progress, identifying potential challenges and proactively implementing corrective actions as needed.
∎ Ensure effective communication channels are established among project teams and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and milestones.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Proven track record of successfully managing and launching e-waste management projects, including hands-on experience in setting up e-waste recycling facilities.
∎ Strong knowledge of international safety guidelines, environmental regulations, and industry best practices related to e-waste management.
∎ Experience in procurement and commissioning of specialized machinery and equipment used in e-waste processing.
∎ Excellent project management skills, including the ability to create comprehensive project plans, manage budgets, and lead cross-functional teams.
∎ Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and teams.
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
∎ Understanding of circular economy principles and sustainable waste management practices is a plus.
∎ Proficiency in project management software and tools.
