Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Designing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for new and existing buildings.
∎ Reviewing and analyzing the specifications and designs of a building’s MEP systems.
∎ Collaborating with architects and other engineers to integrate MEP systems into the overall building design.
∎ Ensuring the designed systems meet all safety and performance requirements.
∎ Using CAD or other design software to create detailed MEP system plans and diagrams.
∎ Inspecting and supervising the installation of MEP systems to ensure they are installed correctly and functioning optimally.
∎ Performing system calculations and preparing specifications, reports, and other documentation.
∎ Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise with the MEP systems during the construction or operation of the building.
∎ Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in MEP engineering to continuously improve system efficiency and sustainability.
∎ Overall Project IN charge.
