∎ Skills Required: 2D (Auto Cad), Ability to Work Under Pressure, Budget Management, Building Construction, Planning and organizing, Water Treatment Plant

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Civil Construction, Prefabricated Steel Buildings, Project Budgeting, Work planning
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Engineering Firms, Real Estate

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for overall management of all construction projects undertaken by PCL.
∎ Coordinate with and advise design team for preparing architectural and construction drawings that meet the client's desired operational objectives for the building.
∎ Prepare construction plans in collaboration with in-house engineers based on the architectural designs and operational objectives provided by the client.
∎ Consult with external experts when necessary to ensure that the designs and construction plans are compliant with the relevant codes and standards.
∎ Draft a complete and comprehensive budget for construction based on the approved plans.
∎ Prepare project timelines, stage-wise deliverables and associated tasks.
∎ Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisites
∎ Review material and equipment requisition plans proposed by in-house engineers for each construction deliverable.
∎ Coordinate with procurement team on negotiating with vendors/contractors, vendor/contractor selection, and detailing the terms and conditions for work orders and purchase orders.
∎ Coordinate with HR team on recruitment of site engineers, supervisors, and storekeepers for each project site.
∎ Assign construction tasks to site engineers and workers and explain to them desired outcomes and deadlines.
∎ Ensure that safety and security measures are arranged for and maintained at project sites.
∎ Coordinate with procurement team, accounts team and vendors to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain management.
∎ Regularly liaise with site engineers to ensure timely completion of tasks and deliverables.
∎ Ensure that construction work adheres to building codes and regulations.
∎ Manage costs in order to meet or stay under budget.
∎ Take regular work updates from the site engineers.
∎ Prepare periodic progress reports for management and give presentations when required.
∎ Address and resolve unforeseen issues that may arise concerning the construction and/or at the project site.
∎ Maintain relationships with vendors for key construction materials.
∎ Any other job assigned by the management from time to time

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Ability to manage and work under pressure.
∎ Strong leadership and management skills
∎ Energetic, confident, proactive and assertive.
∎ Experience in Factory building construction (RCC and steel structures) will get preference.
∎ Good negotiation and interpersonal skills.
∎ Good communication skill (both written and verbal, Bangla and English).
∎ Expert in MS Excel, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software
∎ Familiarity with commercial contracts and their usual terms and conditions is expected
∎ Prioritizing timely completion of deliverables at minimal cost is expected
