Educational Requirements:
∎ At least Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from any reputed university
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain the proper management of fire safety project, maintenance service and improvement on strategic and operational level.
∎ Ensure the effective delivery of all fire safety works and make sure that the projects are completed to a high level of customer satisfaction and following standard of legal compliance.
∎ Manage Fire Safety Assessment programs and ensure proper fire safety is maintained or suggested to the client according to the applicable standards.
∎ Provide expert technical knowledge through leadership to manage compliance of all aspects of fire safety across all assets, ensuring that the services are maintained and improved.
∎ Provide guidelines to the design engineers regarding Fire Alarm System and Fire Protection System Drawing based on NFPA and BNBC guidelines.
∎ Provide robust design solutions to clients for sprinkler, hydrant and fire alarm system in all phases of development, from brainstorming and evaluating concepts through troubleshooting and support on the factory floor.
∎ Take full responsibility of all the fire safety projects starting from draft designing, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, procurement, working plan preparation, installation and commissioning, as built drawing and document preparation, audit handling, project handover and certification.
∎ Follow up with the local and international procurement if required.
∎ Prepare project schedule, maintain the people and the task, collaborate with the team members and follow up for timed handover of the project.
∎ Perform various calculation i.e. battery calculation, voltage drop calculation, conduit fill calculation, hydraulic calculation etc.
∎ Give proper and quick guidelines to the technical team for commissioning and troubleshooting of the fire safety system.
∎ Prepare Fire Safety System Testing and Commissioning Documents as per NFPA.
∎ Monitor the fire safety projects and coordinate with the factory management and installation team until the final T&C of the project.
∎ Arrange training session for in house and on call request to provide knowledge regarding fire safety system design, installation, maintenance and commissioning.
∎ Provide support in the technical critical situation i.e. retrofitting, customer audit, buyer audit etc.
∎ Provide support to the sales professionals to progress through the market and achieve estimated sales projection.
∎ Maintain good documentation skill for keeping track of the fire safety projects and business status.
∎ Provide a professional advisory service, embracing all areas of fire safety management.
∎ Take part in the administrative decision for continuous development of the fire and life safety department.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3-5 years professional working experience.
∎ Must have professional skill on AutoCAD
∎ Must have knowledge on NFPA and BNBC
∎ Must have prior knowledge on Fire and Life Safety Design product, supply, Installation and commissioning.
∎ Must have prior experience on working with Accord, Alliance and RSC, DIFE etc.
