We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team in the role of Project Engineer at Gazipur site.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for overall management of designated construction projects undertaken by PCL.
∎ Coordinate with and advise design team for preparing architectural and construction drawings that meet the client's desired operational objectives for the building.
∎ Follow up construction plans in collaboration with the project Head based on the architectural designs and operational objectives provided by the client.
∎ Keep liaison with external experts when necessary to ensure that the designs and construction plans are compliant with the relevant codes and standards.
∎ Draft a complete and comprehensive budget for construction based on the approved plans.
∎ Prepare project timelines, stage-wise deliverables and associated tasks.
∎ Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisites
∎ Prepare material and equipment requisition plans and proposed to project head for assigned construction site.
∎ Coordinate with procurement team time to time.
∎ Coordinate with HR team on recruitment of supervisors and store supervisor for assigned project site.
∎ Follow up and create awareness among the construction workers and explain to them desired outcomes and deadlines.
∎ Ensure that safety and security measures are arranged for and maintained at project sites.
∎ Regularly liaise with engineering team to ensure timely completion of tasks and deliverables.
∎ Ensure that construction work adheres to building codes and regulations.
∎ Manage costs in order to meet or stay under budget.
∎ Make sure regular work updates to the head of project.
∎ Prepare periodic progress reports and submit it to project head.
∎ Address and resolve unforeseen issues that may arise concerning the construction and/or at the project site.
∎ Maintain relationships with vendors for key construction materials.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 36 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Ability to manage and work under pressure.
∎ Strong leadership and management skills
∎ Energetic, confident, proactive and assertive.
∎ Experience in Factory building construction (RCC and steel structures) will get preference.
∎ Good negotiation and interpersonal skills.
∎ Good communication skill (both written and verbal, Bangla and English)..
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software
∎ Familiarity with commercial contracts and their usual terms and conditions is expected
∎ Prioritizing timely completion of deliverables at minimal cost is expected
