1. About the Organization
We are a reputed and structured Real Estate & Construction organization operating in Dhaka since 2005. We are a proud member of REHAB and have established a strong reputation through quality construction, timely project completion, timely handover and registration, and professional customer service.
The organization currently has approximately 20 ongoing projects and 18 upcoming projects. Our operations are supported by dedicated HR, Finance & Accounts, Engineering/Civil Construction, Sales, Marketing, Internal Audit, Procurement and Logistics functions.
As part of our future expansion, we are entering new areas including:
· Heavy industrial construction
· Roads and highways
· Bridges and culverts
· Steel engineering and structures
· Large-scale commercial and industrial buildings
· Glass façade/building projects
· Large and technically complex construction projects
We are therefore looking for talented and ambitious Civil Engineers who can grow with the organization and contribute to developing international/global-standard project execution practices.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Project Planning & Execution
· Study and understand approved architectural, structural and engineering drawings.
· Prepare and implement project execution plans in coordination with the Project Manager.
· Plan daily, weekly and monthly construction activities.
· Monitor project progress against approved schedules and milestones.
· Coordinate manpower, materials, machinery and subcontractors required for project execution.
B. Site Supervision
· Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
· Monitor excavation, piling, foundation, RCC, reinforcement, formwork, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring and other civil works.
· Ensure construction work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
· Check levels, dimensions, alignment and other technical requirements.
· Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and workers.
· Maintain proper site discipline and productivity.
C. Quality Control
· Ensure construction work meets approved quality standards.
· Coordinate with QA/QC personnel for inspection and testing.
· Verify quality of concrete, reinforcement steel, bricks/blocks, aggregates, cement and other construction materials.
· Monitor concrete casting, curing and other critical construction activities.
· Ensure proper documentation of inspections and testing.
D. Drawing & Technical Coordination
· Review structural and architectural drawings before execution.
· Identify discrepancies, conflicts or constructability issues.
· Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers and consultants.
· Raise technical queries and obtain necessary clarification before execution.
E. Cost & Material Control
· Monitor material consumption against approved quantities.
· Coordinate with Procurement & Logistics for timely availability of materials.
· Verify material requirements and site requisitions.
F. Safety, Health & Environment
· Ensure compliance with organizational safety policies and applicable regulations.
· Ensure workers use appropriate PPE.
· Promote a strong Zero Accident / Safety First culture.
G. Progress Monitoring & Reporting
Prepare and submit:
· Daily/weekly/monthly site progress reports
· Manpower reports
· Material consumption reports
· Quality/inspection reports
