Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
∎ Should have engineering degree from recognized and reputed public institution.
∎ Skills Required: Project Management

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 15 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Solar Power Plant

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analyze project-specific risks and opportunities; develop a risk management plan through coordinating development, project execution strategy, contracting/commercial strategy and project insurance options.
∎ Provide engineering support for PV plant, substations, civil work related solar specific engineering issues and value engineering opportunities based on the project-specific risk profile.
∎ Create project management plans, project documents specific to the project needs which are aligned with company policies.
∎ Acting as Owner's Representative, operate as the project's single point of contact for all technical and commercial communications.
∎ Track project key performance indicators (schedule, cost, quality, scope) and provide inputs/corrective action to ensure progress is according to plan.
∎ Develop and maintain project timeline, identify critical path and key milestones for project's success.
∎ Evaluate monthly contractor progress reports with an eye toward managing project risks and exploiting project opportunities.
∎ Prepare monthly reports for the project Owner and lenders/financiers based on contractor reports and first hand observation of the project progress.
∎ Present project progress, key findings and recommendations to the project Owner and/or lenders/financiers as required.
∎ Communicate with utilities and authority having jurisdictions regarding interconnection, permitting, and other regulatory compliance issues.
∎ Offer technical and commercial solutions to EPC contractors and third party agencies performing project construction works based on past experience and industry best practices.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 45 to 57 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 15 years in the energy sector and particularly in renewable energy sector/ power transmission and distribution.
∎ At least 3 years as head of power project.
∎ Should have high proficiency in spoken and written English.
∎ Should have strong communication, negotiation and leadership skills.

Salary:
∎ Negotiable
