Job Context:

∎ Salary Grade: Grade 8 (Bangladesh)
∎ The incumbent will work in a dedicated team to accomplish the project objectives maintaining Jhpiego’s global standards. Under guidance of the Program Director, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, s/he will coordinate and implement the field level activities of urban health components as per annual work plan (AWP) approved by UNFPA.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Project Management: S/he will coordinate with other team members, managers and providers of the targeted facilities to accomplish the planned activities as per approved AWP.
∎ Capacity Development: S/he will be participating in competency-based training courses/ TOTs on LARCs/PMs focusing PPFP/PAFP, maternal health, midwifery and other components SRH to develop skills on relevant services provision and organize cascade training accordingly. S/he will have to conduct training follow-up and mentoring of providers as per protocol to ensure the enabling environment for high quality services delivery.
∎ Performance Monitoring: S/he will track PPFP/PAFP, midwifery other SRH care performances by facility, provide feedback to the providers as well as managers to overcome the limitations, identify bottlenecks and with recommendations for trouble shooting to increase quality and coverage. S/he will to facilitate DQA visits to ensure proper documentation and reporting of performances into MIS/DHIS2. S/he will maintain training and follow-up database.
∎ Compliances: S/he will work with the GOB managers and supervisor to ensure informed choice, voluntary decision-making process and informed consent in case of LARC/PM services. S/he will also facilitate environmental compliances towards gender and disability inclusive SRH services. S/he will adhere Jhpiego organizational policies & procedures in all matters related to project implementation.
∎ Coordination: S/he will maintain liaison and collaboration with all stakeholders including GOB, NGO, private counterparts and donor.
∎ Program Planning and Reporting: S/he will contribute in activity/program planning and AWP preparation process; prepare the event report, and support the Program Director to prepare quarterly and annual report.
∎ Financial Management: S/he will prepare and submit activity budget, raise PR, manage activity expenditure including submission of expenditure adhering Jhpieg’s policies and procedures.
∎ Representation: S/he will represent the organization through participation in the meetings and other events at her/his assigned areas.
∎ Special Assignment: S/he will carry out any other tasks assigned by the supervisor and senior management team.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years of working experience with interest in public health focusing SRH in any international non-governmental organization.
∎ Proficiency in written and spoken English and Bangla
∎ Computer literacy with particular skills in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Bijoy52, and MS Outlook.
∎ Excellent inter-personnel skills and ability to work in team environment.
∎ Willingness to visit the targeted facilities frequently (at least 75% time) using public transportation to accomplish the assignments.
