Job Context:
∎ The incumbent will work under a dedicated team to accomplish the project objectives maintaining Jhpiego`s global standards. The incumbent will be reportable to the National MEAL Officer, Workplace Intervention for implementation of the planned activities following the annual work plan (AWP), approved by UNFPA.

∎ Position reports to: BGMEA Point Person/Program Director, SRHR, Jhpiego
∎ Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh (To be seconded at BGMEA Office)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ A. MEAL Tool Development and Data Management
∎ Work with the workplace intervention team to develop and implement a robust monitoring system that will ensure tracking of the activities in relation to sexual and reproductive health (SRH) and/or Family Planning (FP) interventions at readymade garment factories at different levels (outputs, outcomes and impact).
∎ Support National MEAL Officer in developing and maintaining an integrated database of the SRH/FP intervention and ensure accountability through regular data updates, data integrity.
∎ Collect relevant and appropriate data needed for effective MEAL systems, which would be utilized in monitoring strengths, weaknesses and gaps in intervention and services and for reporting on donor commitments.
∎ B. Implementation and Reporting
∎ Work closely with the BGMEA and DGFP officials to ensure that feedback to implementing the intervention is within time.
∎ Carry out data quality assessments/ audits regularly for MEAL data based on agreed indicators to guide decision making
∎ Support the National MEAL Officer, Workplace Intervention in planning process and conduct all pre and post intervention assessments, KAP surveys, After Action Reviews, Post Distribution Monitoring and Real Time Evaluation of emergency programmes.
∎ Assist the National MEAL Officer to monitor the effectiveness and impact of the interventions on key business metrics: absenteeism, productivity and staff turnover etc.
∎ Prepare event report and share with National MEAL Officer, Workplace Intervention.
∎ C. Learning, Accountability, Capacity Building and Advocacy
∎ Provide relevant evidence for learning from the intervention.
∎ Ensure Sex, Age, Disability Disaggregated Data (SADD), Accountability and Gender standards are consistently adhered in programme delivery.
∎ Build capacity of workplace and any relevant staff through training to ensure adoption of new data monitoring tools and quality of data collected.
∎ Organize advocacy events to introduce UNFPA's Return of Investment (ROI) tools with the factory owners, buyers and other relevant stakeholders.
∎ Support the National MEAL Officer in advocacy with the factories and companies to pilot and implement the proposed activities in the factories, based on interventions included into the ROI Tool.
∎ D. Coordination
∎ Maintain liaison and collaboration with all stakeholders including BGMEA DGFP, NGOs, Buyers, Factory Owners and Development Partners.
∎ Support the SRHR Forums of RMGs to meet regularly and enhance the decisions taken in the forum duly implemented.
∎ Liaise with business partners and companies stakeholders to orient them on the functionality of the ROI Tool, and assist them in running projections and estimates related to the different SRHR interventions proposed in the ROI Tool
∎ E. Special Assignment
∎ Carry out any other tasks assigned by the supervisor and senior management team.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years of working experience with interest in public health focusing SRH/FP in any organization.
∎ Experience to prepare activity budget, financial documentation, expenditure report, reconciliation etc.
∎ Proficiency in written and spoken English and Bangla
∎ Computer literacy with particular skills in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Bijoy52, and MS Outlook.
∎ Excellent inter-personnel skills and ability to work in team environment.
∎ Willingness to visit the targeted facilities frequently (at least 80% time) using public transportation to accomplish the assignments.

∎ Salary Grade: Grade 7/8 (Bangladesh)
