Arannayk Foundation, also known as the Bangladesh Tropical Forest Conservation Foundation, is a not-for-profit organization established in 2003 through a joint initiative of the Governments of Bangladesh and the United States. Registered under Section 28 of the Bangladesh Companies Act 1994, it promotes the conservation, protection, restoration, and sustainable use of tropical forests across the country. The Foundation provides both financial and technical assistance to various stakeholders engaged in forest and biodiversity conservation, while also implementing projects funded by national and international development partners.
Arannayk Foundation implements forestry, wildlife, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable natural resource management projects across Bangladesh. These projects encompass a wide range of technical and field-based interventions, including biodiversity assessments, community engagement, habitat management, conservation action plan development, wildlife population surveys, and human-wildlife conflict mitigation. To support the effective implementation of these initiatives, Arannayk Foundation intends to engage a Program Associate (Forest and Biodiversity) to work closely with the program management team and relevant technical experts. The position will provide technical, operational, and field-level support in planning, coordinating, implementing, and monitoring project activities, while contributing to the quality and timely delivery of project outputs in accordance with approved work plans, technical standards, and contractual requirements.
