Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Undertake all activities regarding new product launching
∎ Craft strategy and develop marketing plan for products
∎ Formulate annual budget for assigned products
∎ Develop promotional materials and define necessary promotional activities for establishing new products
∎ Visit the doctors, chemists, feed sellers, institutions & farms
∎ Participate in training program of field colleagues
∎ Ensure all activities to launch new seed and crop care product
∎ Perform regulatory activities at Department of Agriculture Extension (DAE) and Ministry of Agriculture
∎ Develop new principal of seeds, conduct trial in Bangladesh for selection of variety
∎ Coordinate all marketing efforts related to assigned products
∎ Develop knowledge of internal & external customers
∎ Assist in preparation of action plan, annual forecast & marketing plan
∎ Monitor competitors’ activities & taking action accordingly
∎ Visit demonstration field and arrange field day with Agriculture Officials & farmers
∎ Major Duties and responsibilities:
∎ For Agrovet Division:
