∎ 3 to 5 years of experience in product development or sourcing, preferably in home goods, kitchenware, or consumer products.
∎ Strong experience working with overseas factories (especially in China, Vietnam, India, and the Middle East).
∎ Excellent project management and organizational skills.
∎ Strong negotiation and communication skills, with cultural awareness and sensitivity.
∎ Detail-oriented with an eye for product design, function, and finish.
∎ Ability to work independently, manage multiple timelines, and stay proactive.
∎ Proficiency in Excel
∎ Requirements

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Collaborate closely with factories in Asia to develop, source, and manufacture new and existing products.
∎ Coordinate the product development lifecycle; from initial concept and sampling to final production.
∎ Track timelines, costs, and quality to ensure successful product launches.
∎ Conduct material research, competitive analysis, and supplier vetting to identify new sourcing opportunities.
∎ Manage communication across internal teams (design, operations, marketing) to keep everyone aligned on product specs and timelines.
∎ Review samples and provide feedback on functionality, design, and quality.
∎ Maintain accurate product documentation, cost sheets, and vendor records.
∎ Assist in troubleshooting production or quality issues and suggest process improvements.
∎ Work closely with the marketing team to ensure product launches and promotions are coordinated, supporting alignment across departments for successful market introductions.
∎ Attend trade shows, visit factories and find new products and suppliers.

∎ Role Overview
∎ We’re seeking a highly organized and resourceful Product Development Manager to lead the sourcing and development of new products. This role will serve as the main liaison between our internal team and our manufacturing partners across Asia and Europe. You’ll manage everything from sourcing products to approving final samples and ensuring products are delivered on time, on budget, and to spec.
