Educational Requirements:
∎ Must be a graduate Electrical & Electronics Engineer from BUET or a Public Engineering University.
Job Context:
∎ Energypac Electronics Ltd. wants to expand its product basket through continuous research & developments. For that the newly developed Product Development Centre requires the services of a graduate Electrical & Electronics Engineer.
∎ Role: The ideal role of the product support engineer should be to search and select products, inline with current businesses of EELL; find out economic, commercial and aesthetic suitability of the new products to blend in with the existing product lines. The role also requires to be able to find out the most economically competitive source of the finished products or raw materials there of.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Gather information, data and samples in order to test them and find the best methods, materials or products to induct in EELL factory or product basket.
∎ The Product Development Engineer is expected to evaluate the available raw materials to determine the most suitable raw material for the products to be developed
∎ The Product Development Engineer is also expected to analyze and evaluate the commercial feasibility of the raw materials in costing terms to find out the most suitable source.
∎ The Product Development Engineer may need to take consulting roles to suggest product or process improvements or provide recommendations during the R&D process.
∎ The Product Development Engineer may need to present product performance to top management for decision making. He would also make process charts with timeline for particular development projects.
∎ Implement strategic initiatives regarding product development with collaboration from other functional departments.
∎ Key Result Area: Develop / induct suitable products in the EELL product basket as per approved timeline.
Additional Requirements:
∎ No experience is required
∎ Research experience is welcome
∎ Must stay at Energypac Electronics Ltd. Factory at Hotapara, Gazipur or in adjacent areas, at least 70% of the time.
