Job Responsibilities:
∎ Procurement officer to oversee all purchasing activities and ensure that purchased items are both cost-efficient and of high quality.
∎
∎ Forecasting, Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
∎ Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.
∎ Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
∎ Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
∎ Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
∎ Maintaining good vendor relations and negotiating contracts.
∎ Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers. Preparing the comparative statements and providing fare and transparent business opportunity to vendors.
∎ Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.
∎ Maintaining and recording asset movement & labelling of assets.
∎ Monitoring all purchasing activities and stock of goods through proper paperwork and following the company policy.
∎ Managing vendor contracts and reviewing them as per company requirements.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Detailed understanding of the business both technical and commercial levels
∎ Minimum 5 years professional experience in procurement in similar business set up.
