∎ B.Sc. Engineering in Civil/ Mechanical
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Preparing detailed layout plans for all drainage and water supply systems for all projects of Grameen Group.
∎ Performing regular inspection on all equipment & materials and assisting in fabrication of same related to plumbing design, if required.
∎ Managing the performing tests on various materials and equipment and maintaining knowledge on all product specifications and ensuring adherence to all required standards related to plumbing design.
∎ Collaborating with various design teams to understand the requirements of plumbing design.
∎ Assisting to allocate appropriate CAD design for all activities and ensuring compliance to all the project’s time frame.
∎ Evaluation of all design & drawings by the consultants according to required quality regulations.
∎ Monitor installations and performing tests on various water and sewage lines for all projects of Grameen Group.
∎ Collaborating with the consultants and contractors for all plumbing related works.
∎ Complete plumbing calculations including water supply, storm and equipment sizes.
∎ Design plumbing systems including sanitary waste, vent, storm, domestic water distribution systems and purifier water systems.
∎ Design select, schedule, size and specify basic plumbing system components to include plumbing fixtures, drains and equipment.
∎ Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules and budgets.
∎ Checking and certifying all contractors’ bills as per field measurement.
∎ Estimating the total materials requirement of the project and assess item wise cost involvement on the basis of plumbing drawing and specifications.
∎ Preparing rate analysis according to market price and PWD standard.
∎ Preparing budget projection for different works.
∎ Preparing Bill of Quantity (BOQ).
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the respective supervisor.
∎ Perform other duties assigned by Management as and when required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Must be a member of Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB).
∎ Able to work under pressure
∎ Excellent skill in both Bengali & English typing.
∎ Good interpersonal and communication skills.
