Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum B.Sc. Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical), diploma with certificate in NDT or its equivalent.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 15 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist PE project management to prepare construction plan for laying pipeline at Chattogram
∎ division including installation of SVS, CP System, river crossing by HDD and testing & commissioning of pipeline.
∎ Prepare CPM, PERT of the project and monitoring the progress.
∎ Monitor Contractor's efforts to verify that construction activities are progressing as per plan.
∎ Prepare monthly reports showing actual progress and milestone with compare to plan and find out the reason of delay or lagging.
∎ Report to Resident Construction Manager.
∎ Check X-ray/Radiography films during the above tests.
∎ Review Contractors welding procedures and specification.
∎ Ensure that field welding work is performed consistent with the design specification and standards for good workmanship
∎ Review welding inspection records as appropriate.
∎ Plan and implement Safety Surveillance Program for supervising Contractors works for pipeline laying.
∎ Intermittently visit the construction location to ensure that Contractors' works are in accordance with the approved safety programme.
∎ Review and follow-up the incident reports issued by Contractors as required.
∎ Supervise Contractors' work in accordance with the approved Environmental Monitoring Program.
∎ Prepare and conduct safety training courses on a regular basis.
∎ Prepare a Monthly (weekly) Safety Report to the HSSE Manager on accidents trends and safety performance on-site.
∎ Assist Client project management to carry out installation supervision of all electrical equipment and testing & commissioning the same.
∎ Monitor Contractors efforts to verify that construction materials meet the requirements of Client.
∎ Ensure that field work for which he is responsible is performed consistent with the design specification and standards for good workmanship.
∎ Appraise the quality and performance of Contractor's field inspection personnel.
∎ Ascertain that safe construction practices and methods are properly planned and implemented, and that all construction works are in strictly accordance with environmental requirements.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Minimum 5 to 15 years working experience in the relevant field of construction supervision, installation including at least 3 years working experience in minimum 2 similar large projects of each at least 200 KM long liquid /Gaseous Hydrocarbon pipeline as Pipeline Construction Engineer.
∎ Familiarity with oil & gas pipeline and/ or plant project.
∎ Having communication skills (excellent command of spoken and written English)
∎ Computer literacy and ability to work with standard office and engineering software.
∎ Good health, able to adapt to hard working environment on site.
∎ Hard working, good team spirit.
