∎ Primary welding for the construction, maintenance, and repair of pipeline systems and assemblies. Cutting, dismantling, straightening, or reshaping pipe sections and components.
∎ Pipe Welder Job Description

∎ We’re looking for a highly skilled Pipe Welder to join our team. You will be responsible for welding pipes and fittings together using a variety of techniques.
∎ We’re looking for someone who has experience with both small and large projects, and who is able to work quickly and efficiently.

∎ Pipe Welder Duties:
∎ Ability to weld in accordance with health and safety standards, as well as company standards (Pipettes)
∎ Ability to correctly install pipe fittings
∎ Ability to read blue prints
∎ Experience reading blueprints
∎ Ability to preform pipe welding and fitting
∎ Ability to use pipe hangers
∎ Pipe Welder Responsibilities:
∎ Install, repair, and maintain pipes using hand tools, power tools, and hydraulic equipment
∎ Set up, adjust, and operate welding equipment including flux-cored arc and oxyacetylene welding machines, pipe threading machines, and cutting torches
∎ Seal joints with welding fillers
∎ Inspect completed welds for internal and external cracks, defects, and imperfections
∎ Use portable measuring devices, such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators
∎ Provide technical assistance to construction teams and inspectors
∎ Perform minor maintenance and repairs to repair broken hydraulic equipment
∎ Perform related duties as assigned
∎ Requirements And Skills:Minimum of one year experience in a welding or fabrication shop is necessary
∎ Strongly prefer candidates with welding certification*Knowledge of pipe welding fabrication shop procedures and processes
∎ Ability to properly use pipe bender, pipe cutter and pipe swagger
