Job Context:
∎ Orko Health Ltd. is looking for a Physiotherapy Assistant who will work under the direction of and guidance of Physiotherapist to support the provision of Physiotherapy Services.
∎ The successful candidate will have improved skills, a proven professional experience and a detailed knowledge in Physiotherapy domain.
∎ Qualifications - Candidates must hold diploma in Physiotherapy or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institute.
∎ Experience - Candidates have a minimum of 1 years of experience in a physiotherapy center or hospital setting. Working experience as a physiotherapy assistant/health care assistant role will be considered as an advantage.
∎ Right understanding of the physiotherapy assistant role along with the responsibilities and accountability of that role within the team.
∎ Use knowledge and training to maintain order, cleanliness and tidiness of treatment areas and equipment.
∎ Recognize the importance of a good working relationship with frequent communication between the assistant and the supervising physiotherapist.
∎ Use knowledge to observe and maintain confidentiality when handling the Client /organization information.
∎ Use knowledge and training to carry out departmental stock control, ordering and receiving supplies, monitoring equipment and reporting faulty equipment
∎ Use opportunities to undertake training and further learning to develop the personal skills to improve the standard of client care.
∎ Use knowledge, training and skills to communicate effectively and appropriately among different stuffs of LH
∎ The hours of work required must meet the needs of the service and will be determined by the Physiotherapy Manager
∎ Strictly obeys the roles and regulations of this organization.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Deliver an effective and efficient service as Ponseti Assistant on a Clubfoot inpatient basis as instructed by Physiotherapist.
∎ Strong communication and counseling ability with patients according to service responsibilities.
∎ Regular patient's data update and stock maintenance of clinical materials.
∎ Deliver an effective and efficient physiotherapy assistance service on an inpatient basis.
∎ Assist in the transfer of patients & preparation of a treatment area.
∎ Assist the Physiotherapist with patients assessment - assist patient to move, re-position/stabilize during an assessment
∎ Assist the Physiotherapist with treatment intervention and carry out intervention according to the prescribed direction of Physiotherapist.
∎ Carry out exercise program with a patient. Take patient through the exercise program which the physiotherapist has prescribed.
∎ Document the above exercise program & all kinds of intervention.
∎ Maintain and monitor all electrical equipment of the departments.
∎ Maintain and monitor supply of logistic materials for treatment purposes of the dept.
∎ Carry out administrative task - answering calls and scheduling patients.
