Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Pharmacy / Bachelor in Pharmacy
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Check prescriptions to make sure there are no errors and that they're appropriate and safe for the individual patient;
∎ Provide advice on the dosage of medicines and the most appropriate form of medication, for example, tablet, injection, ointment or inhaler;
∎ If required
∎ Make sure medicines are stored appropriately and securely;
∎ Supervise the work of junior staff with the department;
∎ Answer questions about medicines from within the hospital and patients;
∎ Liaise with other medical staff on problems patients may experience when taking their medicines;
∎ Assist department In-charge to write guidelines for drug use within the hospital and implement hospital regulations;
∎ Provide information on expenditure on drugs;
∎ Prepare and quality-check sterile medications, for example, intravenous medications;
∎ Keep up to date with, and contribute to, research and development;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least 1 year experience in relevant discipline particularly in hospital setting.
∎ Excellent communication skills for dealing with patients and health professionals
∎ Ability to use scientific knowledge to solve problem
∎ Effective management and leadership skills
∎ Candidate should be proficient in using Microsoft Office
∎ Should have good command on English & Bangla with good speaking and writing skill
∎ Should be enthusiastic, pro-active, dedicated, punctual and hard working
∎ Should have good interpersonal & presentation skills
