Job Context:
∎ RTM International is going to appoint skilled/experienced professionals to provide Sexual and Reproductive Health Services to the Rohingya and host population of Ukhiya & Teknaf upazilas of cox’s Bazar. The required qualification and experiences for the position is given below:
∎ Report to: PC/PM
∎ Location : RTMI Field Office, Cox’s Bazar.
∎ Project Overview:
∎ Emergency health projects targeting forcibly displaced and vulnerable populations in Bangladesh. Developmental typed projects aimed at long-term and sustainable behavior change in general & FDMN population and state health employees to improve public health outcomes.
∎ Workplace & Conditions:
∎ The position is based in Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure quality FP services, to regain confidence and prevent drop out through proper counseling for quick attention and remedy of complication On the day-to-day, they carry out a variety of functions required to ensure the needs of the program are met and that all paramedic activities are delivered efficiently, accurately, and on time. All activities are carried out in line with RTMI-UNFPA policies and procedures and according to any applicable RTMI-UNFPA guidelines.
∎ Key Activity Areas:
∎ Providing Family planning methods (Temporary) to the community people after proper screening
∎ Counseling to the eligible couple for taking family planning methods.
∎ Daily supply of family planning commodities through Community Health Workers. Outreach Workers to the screened clients.
∎ Follow up of the long activity permanent method users to identify any side effect and complication by house to house visit and in family planning point.
∎ Periodic follow up (F/U) of the method users and intensive follow up F/U during any side effect
∎ As required management of complication and side effects (counseling and referral to clinics) for quick relief from suffering.
∎ Ensure quality family planning services, to regain confidence and prevent drop out through proper counseling for quick attention and remedy of complication.
∎ Weekly/need based, field level monitoring and supervision to identify any technical issues regarding use of family planning methods through field visit.
∎ Counseling/Information sharing of different method on ECP and MR to increase the number of acceptance of family planning method and have planned families in the community in service centers – daily.
∎ Timely placing requirement of commodities to the higher authority.
∎ Promote postpartum family planning during antinatal care 4th visit & just after delievery.
∎ Promote long acting / permanenet method by repeated counseling with the eligible or target couple.
∎ Take advice and support from the Higher Authority and Field Coordinator for any administrative issues and from Field Medical Coordinator and Medical Officer Reproductive Health for any technical issues
∎ Any other responsibility assigned by the authority.
∎ Planning:
∎ Ensure paramedic support for the program team & ensure quality assurance of the data collected for verbal autopsy & follow up with the program and RTMI to ensure the plan is implemented & family planning performance submission to higher authority.
∎ Documentation:
∎ Ensure the documentation releated to family planning and regularly sent to the respective line management and authority.
∎ Preparation of monthly report on family planning and timely submission to the Higher Authority, Field Coordinator and Respective Medical Officer Reproductive Health.
∎ Communication:
∎ Maintain a transparent, honest, and supportive communication structure with colleagues to ensure they are kept informed of applicable family planning activities and requirements.
∎ Develop and maintain positive relationship & coordination with suppliers, local authorities, other NGOs, and any other stakeholders, representing RTMI and ensuring good co-operation and partnerships.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Work experience in stock management, preferably in an Rohingya Refugee Contest & NGO settings.
∎ Able to work under pressure & complete the task in timely manner.
∎ Competent with administrative tasks. Problem-solving ability. Attention to detail.
∎ Quick learner with a practical, precise approach.
∎ Depending on RTMI activities and needs, your responsibilities may be adapted and evolve according to the specific projects.
