Job Context:
∎ CDiC & LFAC has developed a new partnership with Orbis International to implement a project title `Model for Children with Diabetic Eye Disease in Bangladesh` funded by USAID. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following position under this project.
∎ Working Hours: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. (except Friday & Govt. Holidays)
∎ Location: CDiC, BIRDEM General Hospital 2, Dhaka
∎ Report to: Consultant & Coordinator - CDiC & LFAC
∎ Project: `Model for Children with Diabetic Eye Disease in Bangladesh`

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Capturing fund al image with funds camera and conduct DR grading
∎ Maintain spectacle corner, perform refraction and dispensing spectacles
∎ Detect or diagnose ocular conditions and associated systemic health conditions, and refer them to appropriate health care professionals, and offer counseling services on preventive vision care
∎ Provide support for teleconsultation
∎ Organize health education and counseling sessions as appropriate
∎ Extend support for organizing events like CME, WSD, WDD and orientation program
∎ Assist in data collection, management and validation
∎ Prepare reports, case stories and submit milestone report as required
∎ Attend the outreach program regularly or whenever required
∎ Maintenance of instrument & equipment regularly or periodically
∎ Coordination with Orbis and partners as needed
∎ Assist in developing IEC/BCC materials
∎ Participate in regular Project Management Meetings (PMT) and prepare meeting minutes
∎ Extend support for conducting clinical or community-based research work
∎ Perform any other duties given by the authority from time to time

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Minimum three years' working experience is required. Candidate having experience in the development sector/hospital is preferable
∎ Excellent communication and facilitation skills
∎ Ability to report writing in English
∎ Ability to work in a team
∎ Well conversant with computer operation
∎ Willingness to work at community level

Salary: Negotiable
