Job Responsibilities:
∎ Understand the measurements, such as sphere, cylinder, and axis, which determine the correction needed for the patient's vision.
∎ Helps customers to choose suitable eyewear based on their prescription, personal preferences, and lifestyle, provides guidance on frame styles, lens types, and coatings to meet the customer's visual needs and preferences.
∎ Assist customers in selecting frames that fit comfortably and suit their facial features considering factors such as face shape, skin tone, and lifestyle to recommend appropriate frame options.
∎ Take precise measurements to ensure proper fit and alignment of glasses, measure the distance between pupils (PD) and ensure the eyewear sits correctly on the nose and ears, also adjust frames as needed for comfort and functionality.
∎ Advise customers on different lens materials, designs, and coatings available, and explain the benefits of options such as anti-glare coatings, UV protection, and scratch resistance, considering the customer's lifestyle and specific needs.
∎ Have to know grinding of blank lens & fitting it into the frame.
∎ Certified optician in contact lens assist patients in selecting and teaches proper lens insertion, removal, and care techniques, and provides guidance on maintaining good eye health while using contacts.
∎ Handle eyewear repairs, such as fixing loose screws, replacing nose pads, or adjusting frames for a better fit and ensuring that eyewear remains functional and comfortable for customers.
∎ Maintain accurate records of customers' prescriptions, measurements, and other relevant information. Help customer to ensure continuity of care and enables easy retrieval of data for future reference.
∎ Stay informed about the latest trends, advancements, and products in the eyewear industry.
∎ Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns, answering questions, and resolving issues related to eyewear, ensuring customer satisfaction and building long-term relationships.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 18 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Skilled in interpreting prescriptions written by optometrists or ophthalmologists.
∎ Strong knowledge of eyewear products, lens materials, and coatings.
∎ Familiarity with eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions.
∎ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
∎ Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and fittings.
∎ Proficiency in using optical tools and equipment.
∎ Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
∎ Proficiency in computer operating.
