Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors
∎ Nurtures relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for company
∎ Monitor business and industry trends to understand availability of supply and pricing trends
∎ Collection of purchase requirements submitted by the concerned units/departments and take actions immediately
∎ Collection quotation from various vendors/suppliers as per purchase requirements
∎ Ensure checking of price of the procured products by visiting the market frequently and prepare comparative statement.
∎ Search for new and alternative supply sources and update vendor database on a regular basis
∎ Ensure timely delivery of the requested materials with specified specifications and quality
∎ Prepare purchase related documents as required
∎ Provide support with internal procurement inquiries from projects
∎ Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time and best prices
∎ Maintain stock and inventory record as well as manage store properly.
