∎ Bachelor’s degree in Film, Video Production, Digital Media, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
∎ Proven experience (2-4 years) in video editing, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
∎ Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
∎ Knowledge of motion graphics, visual effects, and animation (Adobe After Effects is a plus).
∎ Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and video production workflows.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
∎ Strong attention to detail and creativity in storytelling through video.
∎ Skills & Competencies:
∎ Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
∎ Time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
∎ Understanding of social media video requirements (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, TikTok).

∎ Job Summary:
∎ The Video Editor is responsible for editing and assembling recorded raw video footage into a polished final product, ensuring high-quality video content for various platforms. This role involves working closely with the creative team to understand the vision for each project and using editing software to create compelling visual stories.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ Video Editing: Edit raw video footage into a cohesive and engaging final product, ensuring high quality and adherence to the project's specifications.
∎ Enhance audio, visual effects, and graphics as needed to create a polished and professional video.
∎ Collaborate with the creative team to understand the overall vision and direction of the video projects.
∎ Content Creation & Development: Create videos for a variety of purposes, including promotional content, social media posts, advertisements, internal communications, and training videos.
∎ Apply sound design, music, and voiceovers to enhance the video’s impact and message.
∎ Integrate visual effects, graphics, and animations when required.
∎ Project Management & Deadlines: Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines are met without compromising quality.
∎ Maintain a well-organized video library, ensuring easy access to footage, assets, and project files.
∎ Communicate with stakeholders (e.g., producers, directors) to gather feedback and make necessary revisions in a timely manner.
∎ Post-Production Process: Perform color correction, sound mixing, and fine-tuning of video footage to enhance the overall production quality.
∎ Ensure video content meets platform requirements (e.g., resolution, aspect ratio, file format).
∎ Export final video files in appropriate formats for distribution.
∎ Collaboration & Feedback: Work closely with the content and marketing teams to understand project goals and objectives.
∎ Incorporate feedback from project stakeholders to ensure the final video aligns with their vision and expectations.
∎ Stay up to date with current trends and best practices in video production and editing.
∎ Quality Control: Ensure all video content is consistent with the brand’s style and tone.
∎ Conduct thorough checks for audio-visual quality, including syncing, color grading, and consistency throughout the project.
∎ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to video files and software.
