Job Context:
∎ Contract length: Up to 30 September, 2021 with possibility of further extension
∎ Job Location: Barishal Field Office (later to Muladi and Bakerganj field office)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The role: This position is responsible for providing technical support to need assessment of water & sanitation facilities, renovation/repair & introduction of nudges in toilets at approximately 325 schools (primary, secondary & madrassa) in new 9 unions of Muladi and Bakerganj at Barishal field office. Beside this. s/he will support to assess the risks in schools and surroundings, review of school list for small scale renovation and prioritize 15 primary schools in the same area. S/he will also design and estimate of boundary wall and provide necessary guidance and follow up to ensure quality of construction materials and also provide additional technical support to construction/ installation of new water & sanitation facilities (if required) in selected schools.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years of working experience in any construction work, preferably in latrine construction, boundary wall construction, tube-well & billboard installation etc
∎ Ability to estimate for construction work
∎ Should drive motorcycle and have valid driving license
∎ Proficiency in MS Office, especially in Excel
∎ Working experience in ensuring child friendly environment in the schools would be an added value.
∎ Extensive field visit is required to Muladi and Bakerganj
