Educational Requirements:
∎ Master/Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition Science (Mandatory)
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 4 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Evaluates and assess the nutrition status of patients, and screen patients for nutritional risk in accordance with established department protocols and standards.
∎ Plans and initiates medical nutrition therapy for patients if indicated by patient requirements and clinical protocol.
∎ Certifies patients for specific program benefits.
∎ Educates and counsels patients and families on nutritional issues, either individually or in groups.
∎ Meeting with clients and identifying their dietary needs by assessing their health, exercise routine, and food habits.
∎ Developing and helping implement personalized nutrition plans for clients.
∎ Offering advice on how to stay healthy and providing support to help clients with their progress.
∎ Communicates individual nutritional care plans to other health care providers as a member of a health care team.
∎ Performs various administrative duties related to public health nutrition programs.
∎ Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 3 – 4 years of work experience in a relevant field in any reputed hospital/organization
∎ High level of language proficiency (English and Bengali both verbal and written)
∎ Excellent leadership quality
∎ Ability to effectively communicate medical and nutritional information in a manner easily understood by the client.
∎ Knowledge of clinical nutrition theory and practice.
∎ Ability to resolve interpersonal problems, disputes and issues.
Salary: Negotiable
